Il problema sembra veramente comunissimo tra le M3. La cosa mi fa abbastanza irritare. In ogni caso ho trovato questo...bizzarro ma...potrebbe anche essere, dato che credo sia un problema di temperature e/o posizione millimetrica del touch.

1. Turn it off.
2. Turn it upside down.
3. Turn it back on.
4. Leave it on 8-10 hours.
5. Turn it off.
6. Flip it over again (right side up)
7. Turn it on again & calibrate screen.

It has worked every time for me.

A guy in Russia has also heated the screen with a hair dryer
while it is upside down & turned on. That seemed to help him.

This is a nightmare problem because so much of the M3's functionality
is in the top right portion of the screen. There is no way to bypass it.

My screen fails in the top right frequently. The only way I have found
to get it working correctly again is through the steps I outlined above.

"Hey, I had exactly the same problem and I fixed it by accident. The touch screen would only respond partially. I tried to calibrate just as you guys did. So here is how I fixed it by accident. I called tech support and I explained the problem and they had no solution. Besides the fact that the touch screen was not responding [as described by you guys in this forum] I also mentioned that the Karma function was not working. So he said that the system clock needs to be set to "internal" for Karma to work. So I asked him how it could have got changed [because I never touched it]. Obviously he didn't know. So I went into the global mode /hit the preferences tab to make sure the system clock was set to "internal". As it turns out; it was already set to "internal". So just to see what the other options were I scrolled through them. The only other option is "S/P DIF". So I set it to S/P DIF just for the heck of it. When I did I noticed it went bonkers for a few seconds as it tried to connect to the S/P DIF device [which does not exist because I do not have one connected. Some text flashed on the screen very quickly that seemed to say "error" something or other. So I set it back to "internal" and then I wrote the global mode I think [just in case I made some positive change]. And guess what???? The thing works perfect now. So try that. Set the system clock to S/P DIF, and then set it back to "internal". My touch screen was doing all the things you guys discribed until I did that and now it has been working perfectly for several days."

Oggi sono andato da lucky music all'assistenza tecnica....ciò che mi è stato detto è questo: giá due volte c'era stato questo problema su m3 di altre persone, korg non è mai riuscito a risolverlo, e allora provvedeva alla sostituzione dello schermo touch...il problema è che ora è fuori produzione la tastiera come anche il touch screen, quindi è impossibile ripararla....l'unica è trovare il pezzo di ricambio avanzato da quelli prodotti precedentemente...io ovviamente sono stato così sfigato che mi è successo la settimana dopo lo scadere della garanzia e così, nel raro caso trovassi il ricambio dovrei pagarmelo io...comunque il problema che si presenta sullo schermo è dato dal modulo e non dallo schermo in sè.... Quindi, sono fottutooooo, e lo dico chiaro e tondo

azzz mi hai dato proprio una brutta notizia.... ma quindi anche se è in garanzia dicono che è molto difficile trovare il pezzo???

Secondo me...
usare l'editor per editare i suoni.
Una volta che i suoni sono pronti, per suonarla live non ci sono problemi (tranne la funzione x/y, ma diciamocelo, non è che sia essenziale).

Ribadisco che per una workstation di quella fascia di prezzo è una porcheria bella e buona.

Concordo, almeno per le top di gamma dovrebbero continuare a produrre pezzi di ricambio per almeno 4 anni dalla prima produzione, così che la clientela possa essere giustamente tutelata e non abbandonata (maledetto consumismo!)....io con Yamaha sono stato trattato decisamente meglio perchè dopo 6 anni che l'avevo l'ho mandata a revisionare e dalla casa madre sono arrivati i pezzi di ricambio che servivano (vuoi che Motif usi ad esempio sempre le stesse contattiere ecc, ma anche Korg ha componenti in comune tra i propri prodotti)

allora, ho una buona notizia, facendo più volte il procedimento di utilizzare lo schermo x y sono riuscito a ridar vita allo schermo, in questo modo posso fare la calibrazione e torna a posto, ma devo farlo ogni volta che la accendo e magari anche mentre la uso per sicurezza...cmq da ciò si capisce che è un problema software, non serve nulla secondo me cambiare lo schermo
