Producer Evolution MKIII for Korg Kronos 2nd Generation is an extensive production-focused sound library created for musicians, composers, producers and keyboard players who want to expand the creative capabilities of their workstation.
The collection includes 64 new Combinations and 127 supporting Programs, offering a total of 191 declared sounds. The library was developed using the Kronos EXi synthesis engines, with high-quality sounds programmed for studio recording, composition, arrangement and live performance.
The 64 Combinations bring together pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, pads, synth leads, guitars, flutes, brass, choirs and atmospheric textures inside layered, split and performance-ready setups. These sounds are designed to provide immediate inspiration for pop, progressive music, fusion, cinematic production, ambient arrangements and contemporary keyboard performance.
Piano-based Combinations form a central part of the collection. Sounds such as Piano + Strings Texture, Piano and Pad Identity, Piano + Dreamland String, Belled Piano + Pad, Moving Piano, Soul Ballad Piano and Both Sides Piano combine expressive acoustic textures with strings, pads, voices, organs and synthesizer layers.
The library also includes progressive and cinematic setups such as Progressive Series 1–3, Jurassic Park, Looking at the Horizon, Dreamland Large Strings, Heaven Pad, Watching the Stars, Darkness and Epic Synth Trumpets.
Electric piano and organ combinations include Rhodes and Hammond, Wurly + Synth Solo Split, Reed Piano and Hammond, Hammond Atmosphere Pad, Electric Piano + Pad and Hammond Synth Solo Split, giving performers versatile sounds for fusion, soul, rock and modern production.
The supporting Program bank significantly expands the collection with acoustic and electric pianos, Rhodes, Wurlitzer, clavinets, organs, flutes, choirs, strings, brass, pads, sequences, leads, percussion and experimental textures.
Highlights include edited piano sounds such as My Favourite Berlin, Berlin Grand Edited, Twisted German Piano and Japanese Edit Resonance, alongside electric keyboards including Real Rhodes, DX Rhoaddy, Norah Wurly, Legend FM Tine and ClaviStuff Ribbon Wah.
The synth and atmospheric sections include CS80 String Pad Ribbon, Lyle Trust Pad, Power to the Stars, Long Sweeping Ribbon, Deep 80 Sweep, Far from the Earth, Prehistoric Cloud, Analog Sequence, Enhanced Orchestra, Phazer Pad and Enhanced Synth-Orchestra.
A wide lead selection completes the library with sounds such as Mays Square Lead, Overdriven Synth, MS Distorted Solo, Ribbon Wah MS Solo, Black Market Solo, Arp Pulse Solo and Electro Horn Solo.
