JMJ Kronos Gift is a free sound pack for Korg Kronos, originally created to demonstrate the true expressive power of the instrument and now released as a special gift for Kronos users. Inspired by the legendary sound world of Jean-Michel Jarre, this collection allows players to recreate iconic atmospheres, sequences and performances using only the internal resources of Kronos, without external samples.
The pack includes custom Programs and advanced Combis built with HD-1, EXi engines, KARMA, Wave Sequencing, Drum Tracks and Vector synthesis, carefully programmed to make complex JMJ-style performances playable with just two hands. Each Combi features dedicated splits, velocity layers and controller assignments, clearly indicated in the Combi titles, making this pack ideal for live players who want instant access to classic Jarre textures as well as a selection of rock-oriented lead and bass sounds.
Designed both as an educational showcase and a musical tool, JMJ Kronos Gift highlights the depth of Kronos synthesis while offering ready-to-play sounds for stage and studio.
