SFAM Covers for Korg Krome / Krome EX is an extensive full-album sound bank designed to faithfully reproduce the keyboard parts, sonic transitions and performance textures of Dream Theater’s landmark concept album Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory.
The collection includes 122 carefully programmed Combinations, organised sequentially inside Combi Bank A. By simply advancing through the combinations during a performance, keyboard players can move comfortably from one musical section to the next without having to search manually for individual sounds.
Each Combination has been created around a specific moment of the album, covering pianos, strings, orchestral layers, choirs, organs, brass sections, guitars, sitars, bells, pads, percussion sounds, signature-style leads and complex split-keyboard setups. Repeated patch names in the list reflect their precise position within the performance sequence and are therefore intentionally preserved.
The bank follows the musical development of the album through sections inspired by Regression, Overture 1928, Strange Déjà Vu, Through My Words, Fatal Tragedy, Beyond This Life, Through Her Eyes, Home, The Dance of Eternity, One Last Time, The Spirit Carries On and Finally Free.
