Nightwish Gothic Collection for Korg Krome / Krome EX is a dedicated sound library created for musicians working with orchestral, gothic, symphonic and progressive metal textures.
The collection combines two complementary sections: a Nightwish Cover Collection, inspired by the characteristic keyboard sounds associated with Tuomas Holopainen, and a Gothic Keys Collection designed for original gothic and symphonic productions.
The first section focuses on the atmospheric and orchestral elements commonly heard in Nightwish arrangements, including layered strings, choirs, bells, piano combinations, cinematic pads, brass textures and the powerful pipe organ character associated with The Phantom of the Opera. The collection also includes sounds inspired by songs such as Ever Dream, Deep Silent Complete, Sleeping Sun and The Kinslayer.
The second section expands the library with versatile gothic-oriented sounds for composition and live performance. It includes split Combis that assign different textures to separate areas of the keyboard, allowing players to use the full key range more effectively during orchestral and symphonic arrangements.
Atmospheric string pads, bells, harpsichords, organs, brass layers and timpani combinations make this collection suitable for intros, interludes, cinematic passages and powerful ensemble sections.
