The Famous Synth is a collection of 20 custom presets programmed for the synth engine of the Nord Stage 2 / 2 EX, inspired by some of the most recognizable synth sounds of the 80s and 90s.
Built using subtractive synthesis, FM synthesis and wavetable synthesis, this sound library recreates a selection of classic tones connected to legendary pop, rock, dance and electronic music productions. The collection includes bright synth leads, iconic brass sounds, classic string textures, vocal-style patches, analog basses, digital choirs and expressive poly synth sounds.
From Jump-style synth brass and 80s pop leads to Daft-inspired textures, Depeche-style choirs, analog bass sounds, cinematic strings and classic electronic hooks, The Famous Synth gives Nord Stage 2 / 2 EX players a compact but highly musical set of recognizable sounds for live performance and studio work.
