The Famous Synth XL for Nord Wave 2 is an expanded collection of 33 custom presets programmed for the Nord Wave 2 synth engine, inspired by some of the most recognizable synth sounds of the 80s and 90s.
Created using subtractive synthesis, FM synthesis and wavetable synthesis, this XL edition recreates a wide range of iconic tones connected to pop, rock, dance, funk and electronic music. The library includes powerful synth leads, analog-style basses, digital choir textures, famous keyboard sounds, vintage strings, brass-style patches, vocal-inspired tones, piano-style sounds and expressive poly synth textures.
On selected presets, The Famous Synth XL also implements the drum loop function, giving performers rhythmic support directly inside specific patches. This makes the library especially useful for live players, solo performers and Nord Wave 2 users who want inspiring sounds with added performance energy.
