32 Sounds – Making History Vol. 5 for Roland Fantom / Fantom EX is a performance-ready sound collection inspired by some of the most recognisable keyboard parts, synth textures and signature tones from iconic songs of the 1980s and 1990s.
The library includes 32 custom presets, covering electric piano and string layers, brass sounds, synth pads, basses, organs, stacked leads, polyphonic synth textures and song-specific performance patches. Several sounds also include dedicated functions activated through Play, allowing players to trigger programmed musical elements directly from the instrument.
The collection moves across pop, rock, progressive music, synth-pop and cinematic themes, drawing inspiration from artists and songs associated with Michael Jackson, Dire Straits, Phil Collins, Huey Lewis and the News, Genesis, Rush, Nena, Cyndi Lauper, Duran Duran, Toto, Bon Jovi, Jean-Michel Jarre, Kim Carnes, Prince, The Who, Twin Peaks and a-ha.

Repeated names in the patches list are intentionally preserved because they correspond to different performance positions or song sections within the original programming structure.
