Deep Impact for Roland SYSTEM-8 is an extensive sound bank created for musicians, producers and sound designers who want a broad selection of cinematic, electronic and performance-ready sounds from their synthesizer.

The collection includes 64 custom patches, divided between the SYSTEM-8 internal sound engine, the Jupiter-8 Plug-Out and the JX-3P Plug-Out. Its diverse palette covers evolving pads, cinematic soundscapes, aggressive leads, arpeggiators, basses, plucks, brass textures, atmospheric sounds and experimental electronic colors.

The main SYSTEM-8 section contains 36 internal patches, ranging from lush and evolving pads such as LFO Slow Pad, Phaser Pad, Alien Pad and Bamboo Pad DD to rhythmic sounds including Industrial Arp, GoaT Arp DD, Tronic Track DD and Groover X DD. Powerful leads, basses, plucks and futuristic textures make this section suitable for progressive rock, metal, electronic music and cinematic production.

The Jupiter-8 Plug-Out section adds 20 patches inspired by the warm and expressive analog character of the classic instrument. Atmospheric sounds such as Atmos Pad, Liturgical Pad, Futuristic Pad and Warmth Pad DD are joined by leads, basses, rhythmic textures and experimental sounds including Pure Jupiter Lead, Detuned Lead, Reso Bass and Big Bubble DD.

The final 8 bonus patches are designed for the JX-3P Plug-Out. This section introduces darker pads, aggressive leads, basses and unusual synthetic textures through sounds such as Sonic Trip DD, Damp Base DD, Space Brassity DD, Feed Lead DD and Nebulosa Pad DD.

The JX-3P Plug-Out expansion is required to load and use the final eight bonus sounds correctly. The remaining patches use the SYSTEM-8 internal engine and Jupiter-8 Plug-Out sections as indicated.
