D-X Bass for UVI Falcon is a professional bass sound library designed for producers, composers, and sound designers looking for powerful hybrid analog/digital bass sounds inside UVI Falcon.
This collection includes 88 programs for UVI Falcon, created from custom patches of the Roland JD-XA hybrid analog/digital hardware synthesizer. Built from more than 19,000 samples, the library captures the distinctive character of the JD-XA, combining analog warmth, digital versatility, deep bass tones, and expressive synth performance.
The Roland JD-XA is known for its unique crossover architecture, combining a four-part all-analog engine with true analog filters and a four-part digital engine powered by Roland’s SuperNATURAL synth technology. D-X Bass focuses on this powerful sonic identity, delivering rich, dynamic, and production-ready bass sounds for modern music creation.
Most programs are built from samples of each note across the playable range, ensuring consistent tone, detail, and musical response. The patches also include built-in UVI Falcon effects, available in the EDIT tab, including Thorus chorus, Delay, and Reverb. These effects can be adjusted to suit your needs or disabled for a cleaner sound.
For recording, a Ferrofish Pulse 16 MX and RME Madiface USB audio interface were used. The original material was recorded in WAV format at 192 kHz / 24-bit and then resampled to 48 kHz / 24-bit.
In many programs, the CC1 MIDI controller, usually assigned to the Mod Wheel, controls different effects such as chorus, phaser, and other expressive parameters. In addition, the Velocity parameter is often assigned to a Low-Pass Filter, allowing softer playing to produce a darker and more filtered sound.
With a total file size of 6.9 GB, D-X Bass offers a deep and flexible bass-focused sound library for UVI Falcon users who need powerful low-end, hybrid synth character, and expressive real-time control.
