JD-X Extra Sounds for UVI Falcon is a professional sound library designed for producers, composers, and sound designers looking for a wide range of hybrid analog/digital sounds inside UVI Falcon.
This collection includes 122 programs for UVI Falcon, created from custom patches of the Roland JD-XA hybrid analog/digital hardware synthesizer. Built from more than 8,000 samples, the library expands the JD-XA sonic palette with a versatile selection of bells, brass, guitars, organs, pianos, strings, and vox sounds.
The Roland JD-XA is known for its unique crossover architecture, combining a four-part all-analog engine with true analog filters and a four-part digital engine powered by Roland’s SuperNATURAL synth technology. JD-X Extra Sounds captures this hybrid character and brings it into UVI Falcon with expressive, detailed, and production-ready sampled instruments.
Most programs are built from samples of each note across the playable range, ensuring consistent tone, detail, and musical response. The patches also include built-in UVI Falcon effects, available in the EDIT tab, including Thorus chorus, Delay, and Reverb. These effects can be adjusted to suit your needs or disabled for a cleaner sound.
For recording, a Ferrofish Pulse 16 MX and RME Madiface USB audio interface were used. The original material was recorded in WAV format at 192 kHz / 24-bit and then resampled to 48 kHz / 24-bit.
In many programs, the CC1 MIDI controller, usually assigned to the Mod Wheel, controls different effects such as chorus, phaser, and other expressive parameters. In addition, the Velocity parameter is often assigned to a Low-Pass Filter, allowing softer playing to produce a darker and more filtered sound.
With a total file size of 7.3 GB, JD-X Extra Sounds offers a rich and flexible sound library for UVI Falcon users who need musical keyboard tones, orchestral-style textures, hybrid synth colors, and expressive real-time control.
