Leads Pack MKIII for Yamaha Motif XF is an updated lead sound collection based on the first lead pack programmed by Fabio Piras, redesigned to give keyboard players a stronger, more expressive and more characterful playing experience.
This updated version improves the original sounds by adding more personality, better performance response and refined programming, while keeping selected older versions as bonus material. The pack focuses on progressive rock and metal-style leads, analog-inspired tones, distorted wah leads, vintage synth textures and song-based performance setups.
The collection includes sounds inspired by Dream Theater, Jordan Rudess, Kevin Moore, Derek Sherinian, PFM, Rush and Pink Floyd, with references to iconic sounds from Octavarium, Images and Words, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Tom Sawyer, Beneath the Surface and This Is the Life.
Several patches include real-time controls through aftertouch, modulation wheel, layered parts and performance-oriented programming. The Shine On Intro & Bells Sample patch includes a sample on C6 and requires DIMM memory.
