After 25 years, the release of the K2700 for many musicians means the return of one of the greatest
Workstations of the 90s. The Kurzweil K2600. Unique and innovative of its kind for the power and the
infinite possibilities of sound and programming. Suffice it to say that in 1996 a computer had a maximum of
32mb Ram, the K2600 instead had the possibility of expanding up to 128mb of Ram.
Used by the greatest musicians and famous groups of the time, Pink Floyd and Jordan Rudess of Dream
Theater.
In 2008 the Kurzweil PC3 and later in 2010 with the release of the PC3K version, it was considered the heir
of the K series. Inside, all the ROMs with the maximum expansions, it was possible to have everything at
your fingertips.
In 2014 Kurzweil totally changes the sound register, if we want to call it that, where it inserts the maximum
of expansions both at the sound level, with new samples and a new aesthetic design, has completely
renewed the point of view of these keyboards.
In 2019 with the release of the Kurzweil PC4, (although considered a mid level) a polyphony of 256 notes
was achieved. With the VAST system, unique and immense for programming, updated and improved over
the years. FLASH PLAY Technology, for fast loading of audio samples loaded directly into memory, without
having to wait 5 minutes while starting the OS. FM operator on board, to be able to directly load SYX
sounds, with the possibility of combining VAST and FM operators, for a unique sound of its kind.
The K2700 will be Kurzweil's new flagship Workstation, which will bring with it the best of technology from
the last 25 years. The unmistakable sound where it is possible to find the "old and the modern" with
maximum power, and also new samples to be discovered and used both for Live and for your own
