Nel frattempo, pare che il nostro amico abbia messo in vendita il suo SP4-7 sul mercatino .
Peccato non poterlo andare a provare, il prezzo di vendita non è malaccio per uno strumento quasi nuovo (quando si dice la sfiga: sono passato dal quelle parti una settimana fa ).

Lo volevo fare, poi mi sono immaginato la seguente scena: "Scusi, la tastiera che vende è una ciofeca? No, perché se è così non la compro, eh!?"
Scherzi a parte, sono sempre più curioso di avere un parere diretto su questa introvabile Kurz, perché comincio a pensare che una 76 tasti con funzioni di stage piano ma che non sia malaccio come master farebbe al caso mio.
Ah!, dimenticavo... la risposta alla tua prima domanda è "sì", secondo il manuale puoi memorizzare dei setup o program in locazioni memoria utente consecutive, ed i pedali switch (c'è un solo connettore switch più uno continuo, ma sul primo si possono mettere due pedali con jack stereo) possono avere funzioni assegnate dall'utente (anche l'avanzamento di programma o setup).

Sul forum americano di Keyboard Magazine, Dave Weiser, Senior Soundware Engineer della Kurzweil, nel Giugno del 2009 scriveva così:

The intent here was to release a preset board (with limited tweaking) that had the PC3 sound set in a lightweight low cost enclosure. This product was specifically requested by several of our distributors - no elves were involved in the decision making process, I promise.

We're hoping that the SP4-7's sounds will make it stand apart.

The SP4's architecture under the hood, while not accessible to users, allowed us to include programs that have a good deal more going on inside than what you'll find on some of the competitors' boards in this price range.

Many of the EPs and pianos use 10, 20 or even 32 layers (usually velocity switched, not simultaneously) which allowed us to imitate little details like release squeaks/thumps, extra harmonics, and all manner of acoustic and electromechanical goodness.

The effects, especially on the vintage stuff (EPs, clavs, B3's, CP80) are probably a bit better than what you'd find in this price range as well. And while I often take it for granted and forget to mention it, the reverbs are pretty stellar for any keyboard, especially a unit with a street price of around $1K.

Yes there had to be tradeoffs for the sake of cost and weight.
I much prefer an internal power supply, and I absolutely prefer the weighted TP40L. The good news is that this is not the only product we offer, nor is it the last thing we'll ever make. For those who want PC3 sounds but need more features or a different action, we now have a growing number of options, with the soon to be released PC3K, the PC3 and PC3LE series.

As far as I know, there are plans to release an SP4-8, with 88 weighted keys. I'll post again as soon as I have more specific info on this.

Scusa se rompo, ma approfitto del tuo ritorno visto che ce n'è un altro in giro sul mercatino... a me interessava non tanto un giudizio sui suoni, ma sulla meccanica...

ciao...la meccanica è semipesata... sinceramente è piuttosto buona... forse un po' leggerina , ma io sono abituato alla pesata del p-250 che è dura come un macigno... cmq si lascia suonare...
