Classic Synths for Korg Opsix / Opsix SE is a versatile sound collection created for musicians, producers and sound designers who want to expand their instrument with 47 original presets spanning classic synthesizer character, modern FM textures and experimental sound design.
Created entirely from scratch by sound designer Nicola Bruno, the library combines timeless electronic colors with the advanced synthesis architecture of the Opsix. Its broad palette includes shimmering pads, atmospheric textures, expressive leads, powerful basses, evolving sounds, sequences, plucks, brass, strings, bells and hybrid keyboard tones.
The collection moves naturally between nostalgic sounds and contemporary production textures. Presets such as Classic Brass, Classic Warmth, Warm Ensemble, Classic Bass and OB Brass provide familiar vintage-inspired colors, while Waveshaper, Atlantis, Harmonic Shimmer, Cloudy and Aeroglide introduce more spacious and evolving sonic environments.
Rhythmic and sequenced sounds such as Arpeggiatronix, Ritmosolina and Pulswerk add movement to electronic arrangements, soundtrack compositions and live performances. Acid Bass, Classic Bass and Slapper provide strong low-end options, while Dirty Lead, Space Guitar, Digitar and DX Legend offer distinctive melodic and solo textures.
The soundset also includes expressive plucks, pads and keyboard sounds through presets such as Armopluck, Plucky, Armopiano, Square Pad, Delicate Vibe, Crystal Stack and Acid Pad.
Designed for both studio production and live use, the presets can be reshaped in real time through the Opsix performance controls. This allows players to modify modulation, timbre, movement and effects while performing, adapting each sound to different musical contexts.
