The Nord Wave 2 is not equipped with the Piano engine present on the other Nords. Therefore we used the Nord Sample Editor which allows you to sample only one dynamics level. To overcome this limitation, the samples were processed directly on the Nord Wave 2 using the available filters and effects to simulate the tonal differences that characterize acoustic pianos, i.e. a softer sound at low velocities and a more shrill one at a higher touch, strong. The result is decidedly satisfactory thanks also to the excellent calibration of the semi-weighted keybed.
The samples are in two formats: the medium includes the complete mapping of the 61 keys while the XL has an extended mapping of 88 keys, very useful in the event that the Nord is played via midi by a stage piano or in any case by a master 88 keys. For each piano, several versions have also been created: Dynamic (with wider dynamics), Bright (typical brighter sound), Soft (soft sound) and some versions with pads and strings (generated by the synthesis engine).
The complete pack M versions size is 113 MB, XL versions size is 247 MB.
