JP-8000 problem: Memory storing failed
by Shadowswithin » Fri Jan 09, 2009 7:30 am
Ok so i just got my JP in the mail today...well i guess this wont work unless someone has one, does anyone?
every time i go to save a performance i save the lower part right next to the upper and write the performance and the two patches....but when i turn it back on all that disappears and it's factory defaults...there not option to turn on/off copy protection so im not sure why it wont save.

Hi Shadows,
I've moved your message in the right place
I hope someone can help you for your problem, I don't know your keyboard

Is there any kind of battery in the JP-8000 that holds the ROM information? In that case, simply replace the battery :)

Yes, I think that you need a new BATTERY, but is really strange that the presets remains!!!

well i posted on vintage synth, and one of the guys said there was an option for turn on, instead of starting out at the first preset it started where i left off. that worked for a bit but it's doing it again.
