Arturia V- Collection - Moog Modular V (the practice)

It’s time to apply what we learned in the first article regarding the Moog Modular V2.

You’ll find four videos below: starting from a very basic patch, we’ll make it more complex and discover how to program this great product.

VIDEO 1 - A BASIC PATCH

Starting from an empty patch producing no sound, we connect the minimum number of patch cords needed to produce a sound.

VIDEO 2 - A MORE COMPLEX PATCH

We start from the basic patch described in the video 1 and try to enrich it adding another oscillator and an envelope for the filter.

VIDEO 3 - THINGS GET MORE COMPLICATED

Starting from the patch described in the video 2, we build a complex stereo pad using one of the features of the synth that was not present on the original machine: the polyphony. Three oscillators, two VCAs, two filters, envelope, LFO.

VIDEO 4 - THE SEQUENCER

We use the patch constructed in the video number two to show how the sequencer works. This is, perhaps, one of the funniest part of this machine.
