Non accetto volentieri critiche su di loro, non a caso in piu' forum mi sono preso lo pseudonimo di "talebano dei Maiden" (dopo aver affermato che troverei bellissimo un cd con 74 min di silenzio basta che ci sia scritto IRON MAIDEN e che a me piace pure le pause di 3 secondi tra brano e brano nei loro dischi).
A parte gli scherzi, so che possono essere amati, adorati, odiati, snobbati ecc...secondo me comunque una band importante per l'heavy metal che conosciamo. Sono loro fan da circa 24 anni, iscritto a tutti i fan club che conosco e (ex) collezionista. Colgo l'occasione per l'annuncio del loro nuovo tour in america (con un guest che dovreste conoscere) per aprire una discussione su di loro. Dite la vostra.

a parte l'era Blaze Bailey (non per colpa sua...ma sostituire il reverendo Bruce è secondo me impossibile...come cercare di sostituire Freddy Mercury...), e l'ultimo disco (e qualcosa di Dance of Death che non mi ha entusiasmato).....DI UN ALTRO PIANETA!!!

Ho trovato favoloso il loro ultimo dvd "Flight666"... consiglio la visione a tutti, perchè vi fa rendere conto di cosa siano davvero gli iron...dei robot!!! ci son rimasto male per come ha suonato Steve Harris in Australia dopo aver preso chissà che infezione intestinale in India.....bianco come un lenzuolo, salta a destra e sinistra senza batter ciglio...e vi ricordo la sua età!

I Maiden non si toccano, e lo dico con indosso felpa&maglietta loro! Sono unici, irripetibili, forse un po' carenti, o meglio, differenti, nell'era Bayley, ma dove si possono notare canzoni abbastanza ascoltabili. Comunque io rimango innamorato dei primi 3 album firmati Dickinson, sono per me quelli i veri Maiden, che si sono poi evoluti nel tempo etc etc...ma lì hanno saputo esprimere tutto il loro talento al massimo!

secondo me sono un gruppo cosi' grande che anche se è da un pezzo che potevano ritirarsi (tanto gira e volta fan sempre la stessa roba, solo che i pezzi nuovi non tirano come i vecchi), sono comunque intoccabili.

è come dire "basta cioccolata", è sempre la stessa da 4 secoli, anzi quella di prima era più buona.. e come si fa a rinunciare alla cioccolata?? ahah..

più che altro, consiglierei a tutti (me stesso compreso) di andarli a vedere il prima possibile, non so quanti anni ancora potranno resistere con live di quei livelli.. ed essere vissuti durante gli anni dei maiden senza averli mai visti, per uno che ascolta metal è assolutamente un abominio..

IRON MAIDEN announce new studio album 'THE FINAL FRONTIER' and North American Tour

IRON MAIDEN are pleased to announce that their forthcoming new studio album will be called 'THE FINAL FRONTIER', and is expected be released late summer of this year.

The announcement comes with news of a North American Tour with Very Special Guests Dream Theater to open in Dallas, Texas, on 9th June and finish in Washington D.C. on 20th July, making it Maiden's most extensive North American tour in many years.

Following these shows in USA and Canada The Final Frontier World Tour will travel back to Europe for a few selected major festival and stadium shows with the band planning to continue to many other countries in 2011 (full currently confirmed dates below).

An exclusive pre-sale allowing members of the IRON MAIDEN fan club first access to tickets to the North American Maiden Shows will be made available two days prior to them being available to the public.

Tickets for the Canadian shows will go on sale to the public on Saturday 13th March at 10am PST (10am EST for Toronto and 12 noon EST Montreal).
Exclusive first access to the tickets will be available to IM fan club members on Wednesday 10th March at 10am PST through to Thursday 11th March at 6pm PST (EST for Toronto).
Regretfully due to technical reasons an exclusive Pre-Sale in Montreal is not possible.

Tickets for the US Shows will go on sale to the public on Saturday 20th March at 10am EST.
Exclusive first access to the tickets will be available to IM fan club members on Wednesday 17th March at 10am EST through to Thursday 18th March at 6pm EST
