Acos Cover Pack is a dedicated Dream Theater-inspired sound collection created for Korg M3, M50, Krome and Krome EX, designed for keyboard players who want to perform A Change of Seasons without having to program the individual sounds from scratch.
The patches are arranged to provide the complete keyboard palette required for the song, allowing players to move through the different sections using the instrument controls and a switch pedal. This makes the pack especially practical for live performance, rehearsals and tribute projects where fast and reliable sound changes are essential.
The collection recreates the specific keyboard textures associated with Kevin Moore’s 1994 arrangement, while also exploring the classic Korg workstation character heard on the original recording. A major goal of the pack is to bring the atmosphere of the older Korg W-series sound into a newer generation of Korg workstations.
The sound palette includes pianos, electric pianos, choirs, pads, strings, Hammond-style organs, groove-based layers, ensemble textures and expressive lead sounds. Several patches combine multiple elements in split or layered setups, giving players immediate access to the complex transitions required throughout the composition.
The pack also includes two bonus sounds:
Fuzz Lead, inspired by the expressive lead tone used by Derek Sherinian in several solo passages.
CloneHammond, a custom Hammond-style organ created entirely with internal samples, drawbar-style control and additional performance parameters.
